The cargo bed will provide a large number of customized services and VTOL functions, which can use the vehicle's battery to power portable electronic devices.The SHARK is built on the DMO super hybrid off-road platform, equipped with plug-in hybrid power and an "intelligent electric four-wheel drive system". According to official statements, the maximum horsepower of the 1.5T model is approximately 430 hp, with an acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, a maximum towing capacity of 2,500 kg, and providing three terrain modes: sand, mud, and snow. The comprehensive cruising range is 840 kilometers (NEDC), and the cruising range in pure electric mode is about 100 kilometers (NEDC), requiring only 20 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.Stella Li, President of BYD America, stated that pickups are a very important product category. Currently, BYD is considering establishing the first production base in Central America in Mexico.
